The Cubera is the most popular of all local snappers. It’s a strong and big fish, and similar to the Red Snapper.
FISHING TRIP FOR BEGINNERS
For Ralf from Germany, who comes to visit Samara every year, it was the first time in his life that he had been fishing. The weather and water were perfect to go for catching Ralf’s favorite food – fish!
We didn’t have to wait long for the fish to come. Ralf hooked two Yellow Fin Tunas and one Red Snapper. Not too bad for a big family dinner! Check out the photos below.
HOW DOES FIRST-TIME FISHING WORK?
If you are curious and would like to try fishing, I am happy to guide you through your first-time fishing experience. If you have never fished on the sea before, an inshore half-day fishing trip is a good option. I set up several fishing rods with the respective lures and/or life bait. As soon as a fish bites I will hand you over the rod and the big fight is yours! While you are reeling I will give you all the instructions you need to have a successful fishing. But remember! It’s not always so easy. Sometimes you lose the fish while you are reeling in. This is part of the game! Depending on the fish and size, you can decide to keep it for dinner or release the fish back to the water. No worries. I clean the fish afterwards and make it ready for you to put it on the grill!
